With heavy hearts we announce that our beloved father and husband, Lloyd Youngman passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family on Friday, March 8, 2019. Beloved husband of Bebe for 64 years. Loving father of Andrea Levine and partner David Shore. Loving father of the late Richard Youngman, and loving father and father-in-law of Mark Youngman and Stephanie Black. Devoted Zaidy of Maxine, Laila and Chloe.
As a teen, Lloyd was a boxer, and his love for athletics followed him into adulthood. Lloyd always found a way to keep moving! He was always busy clearing brush around their beautiful home in Guelph or riding the tractor to cut the grass. When not skiing, boating, skating, fishing, or growing giant zucchini's, he was busy baking bread or golfing. He was an avid reader and lover of history, studious and kind in a very old-fashioned gentlemanly way. Often involved in community, including his stint on the Board as chairman of Education, Lloyd was civic minded and contributed to the City of Guelph in many ways. Although his chosen profession was as an Accountant and Trustee in Bankruptcy, his real love was the outdoors and his family.
We extend our profound thanks to the loving care provided to him by his caregivers Nora, Annie, Maricel, Zen and Janet.
He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Memorial donations may be made to the Richard Youngman Memorial Fund c/o the Youngman Family.
