ZAMIN, Mario 'Mutts' Francesco

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at St. Joseph’s
Health Centre, Guelph, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Mutts, in his 82nd
year, was the dear father of Michael (Judy), Tricia (Ken) Gray, Mark
(Sharon), Chris (Barb) and Steven (Nadine Bettridge-Zamin). He will be
remembered by his grandchildren Denielle, Abigail, Andrew, Arianne, Noah,
Ella, Cole and Jackson. Mutts was the dear brother of Josephine “Pina”
(Richard) Boyle and Reno (Jean) Zamin. He is specially remembered by his
former wife Carol. Mutts was predeceased by his parents Emilio and Lina
(nee Bragagnolo) Zamin and by his grandson Kyle Gray (1989).
Mutts influenced the lives of many students and colleagues throughout his
teaching career with the Wellington Catholic Separate School Board. He
will be missed by his many friends.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son
Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, March 1,
2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Mutts will be held at the funeral
home on Friday at 3 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.
Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10
a.m. Interment, will take place at a later date at Marymount Cemetery,
Guelph. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to
the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, to the Kidney Foundation or to
the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Cards are
