Passed away at Guelph General Hospital surrounded by his family on May 9th, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Genoveffa Zilio, and by his brothers, Alfeo and Ermenegildo (d. Luigina) of Italy.
Survived by his brother Silvano Zilio (Massimina), sisters Elda Marcon (d. Alessandro), Rita Falvretto (d. Benito), Maria Binotto (Ettore), Apollonia Zardo (Giocondo), and brother Albert Zilio (Barbara). He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as by numerous friends.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 14th, At Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St. N, Guelph, ON, N1H 4P3) from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Parish on Wednesday, May 15th, at 11am. The family would appreciate donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
