Toronto police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a transit bus in the city's east end.
Police say they were called out to the area just before 1 a.m. Monday.
Const. Laura Brabant says the pedestrian was trapped under a Toronto Transit Commission bus.
She says the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brabant says there were riders on the bus at the time.
The force's traffic services division is investigating.
