Pedestrian dies after hit-and-run in London, Ont.: police

LONDON, Ont. — Police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in London, Ont. 

The London Police Service says emergency services responded to a report that a pedestrian was struck near Adelaide and Nelson streets around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.  

The force says the pedestrian died as a result of the collision.

Police say the vehicle involved fled the scene "immediately."

They did not share any further details about the victim. 

The investigation is ongoing
