Three children, two adults dead after house fire in Brampton, Ont.: police

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Three children and two adults have died after an early-morning fire at a home in Brampton, Ont. 

Peel Regional Police say the house fire at Conestoga Drive and Sutter Avenue broke out around 2 a.m. today.  

They say three children and two adults were later pronounced dead.

Police say one also adult was transported to a trauma centre with "serious injuries." 

They add that two other adults were able to escape the home without any injuries. 

The investigation into the cause of the deadly fire is ongoing.
