TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On July 13, 2017 at approximately 1:45 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a child being hit by a car on St. Andrews Street, Town of Fergus.
Police responded and investigation revealed that the child was struck by a west-bound vehicle after running out onto the street.
An 11-year-old child was transported by Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. There was minor damage to the vehicle and the driver was not hurt.
