On Jan. 7, 2019, a male attended to a bank and tried to open an account with fake documents. The male got nervous and left the bank a short time later.
On Jan. 15, 2019, the same male attended a different bank and tried to open an account with different fake documents and in a different name from the previous incident. The bank contacted police immediately.
George Kolo, a 19-year-old from Toronto was arrested for two counts of identity fraud and two counts of possession of identity documents. Kolo is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 26, 2019.
