31-year-old Guelph man accused of defrauding employer of more than $15,000

In June of 2017, The Guelph Police Fraud Unit received a complaint from a Guelph business about an internal fraud by an employee of the company. Investigation revealed that sales/service contracts had been altered and the company suffered a loss in excess of $15,000.

The complaint was investigated and the responsible employee was arrested on April 3, 2018 for Fraud Over $5,000 and Uttering Forged Documents. 

Ali Al-Khafaji, a 31-year-old Guelph male, was released on a Promise to Appear-with an Officer in Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 15, 2018.
