$490 ticket for driver who passed stopped school bus

A Guelph driver was fined Monday after passing a stopped school bus.

Just after 8 a.m., a Guelph police officer was northbound on Starwood Drive at Thompson Drive and stopped for a southbound school bus, which had its lights flashing and stop arm activated. Another northbound vehicle ahead of the cruiser drove past the bus.

A 48-year-old Guelph male received a $490 ticket.
