$5,000 worth of tools reported stolen from shed

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a break and enter to a shed at a seasonal property located on Elm Place in the Township of Centre Wellington.

OPP investigation revealed that the locked shed was entered sometime between Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 and Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019. Investigation revealed unknown suspects smashed out the glass window and gained access to the shed. A quantity of tools were stolen with an approximate value of $5,000.

OPP continue to investigate and is asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles, or may have any information regarding this incident to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
