75-year-old charged with break and enter

MINTO - On Saturday, Feb. 18, 2018 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break and enter occurrence at Road 1 North, east of Harriston. Initial reports indicated a homeowner had interrupted a burglar in their kitchen. The suspect, who had entered through an unlocked door, fled when discovered. The suspect was located by OPP shortly thereafter and she was arrested.

Seventy-five-year-old Dianne Myrtle Donald of Mount Forest has been charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders. She was held for bail.
