84-year-old-driver extricated from vehicle following crash

She was transported to hospital with significant injuries and was later transported to a trauma centre for further treatment

On Sept. 12, 2019 at approximately 7 p.m., a black 2003 Toyota Corolla was southbound on Arrow Road, turning left on to Woodlawn Road West. During the course of the turn, the Toyota was struck by a black 2001 Acura MDX that was westbound on Woodlawn Road West and being driven by a 26-year-old female.

The 84 year old Guelph female driver of the Toyota had to be extricated from her vehicle by Guelph Fire and was transported to hospital with significant injuries. She was later transported to a trauma centre for further treatment.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
