On Feb. 1, 2019 at approximately 6:15 a.m., a silver 2009 Mazda 3 was stolen from a driveway on Goldenview Drive. At approximately 7 a.m., a 2001 blue Nissan Juke was stolen from a driveway on Pettitt Drive. Both vehicles were unlocked and the keys were in the vehicles.
Guelph Police wish to remind you that when you leave your vehicle running or unlocked with the keys inside, you make it very easy for someone to steal your vehicle. These stolen vehicles are often used in other criminal offences including but not limited to: break and enters, thefts and drug trafficking.
