A Guelph female who had an apparent shopping list of items to steal for other people faces several charges.

Last Friday, approximately 2:30 p.m., officers were called to a business on Eramosa Road near Stevenson Street North after a female left the store pushing a cart with more than $600 in stolen product.

As officers entered the parking lot, the female abandoned the cart and attempted to flee but was stopped and placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, police located a journal containing a list of items and names which appeared to suggest certain items were being stolen so they could be sold or traded to specific individuals.

The female was also in possession of identification and a credit card in other people’s names.

A 33-year-old Guelph female is charged with theft under $5,000, possessing stolen property under $5,000, attempting to traffic in stolen property and breach of probation. She was held for a bail hearing Monday.
