TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON - On March 22, 2018 at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an assault that had happened the previous day at a work place on Gzowski Street, Town of Fergus.
The victim reported that he had been involved in a verbal altercation with the accused that led to the accused assaulting the victim.
59-year-old Craig Smith of Fergus has been charged with assault. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 27, 2018 to answer to the charge.
