On Nov. 25, 2019 at 9:20 p.m., members of the Guelph Police Service responded to an altercation in the downtown core of the City of Guelph. Upon arrival, a 29-year-old female was found suffering from a stab wound. The female was transported to Guelph General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Early on the morning of Nov. 30, 2019, officers located the suspect in the downtown core of the City of the Guelph. She was subsequently arrested.

A 23-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:
    •    Aggravated assault
    •    Assault with a weapon
    •    Weapons dangerous
    •    Breach probation x2

She was held in custody for a bail hearing taking place later in the day, where she was released on a recognizance of bail with several conditions.

On the evening of Dec. 1, 2019, police observed her at an apartment building in the downtown core of the City of Guelph that she was prohibited from attending. She was again arrested and charged with breach recognizance.

She was held in custody for a bail hearing taking place on Dec. 2, 2019.
