On Nov. 19, 2018, Guelph Police were called to a residence on Yorkshire Street in regard to several samples of blood being stolen from a front porch.
The samples were left on the front porch for a company to pick them up, and it was discovered that they were taken from the time they were left out until the time the company came to pick them up.
The Guelph Police would like to remind people that as we approach the holiday season, we discourage packages being left out either for pick up or delivery. Having packages left out on your front porch makes it an easy target for thieves to take them. If you are having a package delivered, ensure someone is home to receive it or have the company bring it to their location for a personal pickup.
