Suspicious case investigated
Management of a Paisley Road business became concerned when a customer reported a suspicious suitcase that was left in a parking lot shopping cart corral over the noon hour on February 23.
Police were contacted and in the interests of safety, the area around the suitcase was cordoned off.
Members of the Explosive Disposal Unit from the Waterloo Regional Police were requested for equipment to x-ray the suitcase.
The x-ray revealed that there was nothing in the suitcase.
