Guelph police are investigating after burglaries at two Dawson Road businesses.

Just before 9 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to a business on Dawson Road near Speedvale Avenue. Staff reported storage containers were entered overnight and a dozen tires, including some on rims, were stolen.

Two males were captured on surveillance video. The first was described as white, six feet tall with a medium to large build and wearing a black jacket, white Crooks and Castles hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes. The second male was white, 5’10”, thin build and wearing a blue denim shirt, camouflage pants, a black wide-brim hat and multi-colour shoes.

While officers were on scene, they were approached by an employee of a nearby business who reported that business was also entered overnight and 10 full cans of gas were stolen. Video surveillance showed the same suspects were responsible.

The incidents are still under investigation.
