Drivers involved in a multi-vehicle collision late Monday afternoon were lucky to come away relatively unscathed.
Guelph police say a "rear-end type" collision involving three vehicles travelling eastbound on Speedvale Avenue resulted in two of the vehicles becoming engulfed in flames.
One of the drivers sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene.
One driver was charged with careless driving.
The Speedvale Avenue/Imperial Road intersection was closed for a couple of hours but is now reopened.
