Cash and wallet stolen from taxi

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Feb. 26, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft from a taxi cab on Strathallan Street, Fergus.

At approximately 2 a.m., unknown suspects stole an unsecured pouch from within the unlocked, unoccupied vehicle. The pouch contained cash and a wallet containing the driver's identification.

Any person with information regarding this or any other criminal activity should contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
