Cash stolen from Erin car wash vault

OPP hope to identify three suspects

TOWN OF ERIN - On Oct. 31, 2019 at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an alarm call at a business located on Erin Park Drive in the Town of Erin.

Investigation revealed that at approximately 3:20 a.m., three suspects in a black Volkswagon Jetta attended the car wash and forced entry into an internal room of the business. Once inside the suspects gained access to the vault and stole just under $800 in Canadian currency.

Wellington County OPP is continuing to investigate and is asking for the public's assistance with identifying the suspects. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips.
