Cash taken in north end smash-and-grab

A quantity of cash was reportedly stolen this week after a north-end business had its front door smashed.

The Guelph Police Service was called Wednesday morning to a business on Woodlawn Road West near Silvercreek Parkway North. The owner reported he arrived to find a front glass door smashed and the business ransacked. Cash was stolen from the register and a filing cabinet in the office.
