A Guelph male spent the night in jail after he breached a release condition within an hour Tuesday night.
The Guelph Police Service was called to an apartment unit in the downtown area approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday. Investigation revealed a male had allegedly caused a disturbance and smashed a vacuum cleaner. The male was charged with mischief and released at approximately 9:30 p.m. on an undertaking with a condition not to attend the address.
Approximately one hour later, police were called back to the apartment after the male returned and began yelling. He was located on scene and arrested again.
A 29-year-old Guelph male is charged with mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was held for a bail hearing Wednesday.
