On September 21, 2016 the Guelph Police investigated the report of a suspicious male in a vehicle that approached a child.

At approximately 3 p.m, a young female child was walking home from school and was near Woodlawn Road and Inverness Drive when the male drove up in his vehicle. He rolled down his window and asked the child to get into his car. She quickly fled from the area.

The vehicle is described as a small four door car, light blue in colour with dark tinted windows.

The man is described as white, around 40 years old with a tattoo on his upper right arm. He was wearing a red ball cap with a blue brim and a dark T-shirt.
