On Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received reports of a vehicle entry on Johnston Street North, Fergus. Unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle sometime overnight between Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 and stole a child's three-wheeled-scooter. The scooter is a Micro Scooter brand, Maxi Micro Kickboard model, blue with black accents, and adjustable T-bar handle, valued at approximately $200.
Any person with information regarding this or any other criminal activity should contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
Wellington County OPP would like to remind everyone to "Lock It or Lose It". Remove the motivation and opportunity for thieves to turn you into a victim. Lock your vehicle, remove the valuables and reduce the motivation. If you do suspect that your vehicle has been entered please report it.
