The Guelph Police Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted an investigation into an alleged drug trafficker in the downtown area of Guelph. On Feb. 12, 2020 the Drug Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant with the assistance of the Tactical Response Unit and the High Enforcement Action Team.
A quantity of cocaine was seized as well as paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. A 59-year-old Guelph female was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and a 45-year-old Guelph male has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
