On September 19, 2016  11:19 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the intersection of Regal Road and and Curtis Road for the report of a two vehicle collision.

It is alleged that a southbound Honda Civic failed to yield the right of way to west bound Mack dump truck. The truck struck the drivers side of the Honda. The 64-year-old female driver was transported to Guelph General Hospital with serious injuries. The injuries are reported as a broken shoulder and a concussion.

The  64-year-old from Guelph has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield to traffic on a through highway.
