8:40 a.m. update

The road has been cleared of debris and is now open. Transported to local hospital for precautionary reasons were a 34-year-old male, 29-year-old female and a six-year-old female.

7:35 a.m. update

Three people have been transported to local hospital with minor injuries. Traffic continues to be delayed while the vehicles involved are being removed.

On Tuesday Nov. 14, 2017 at approximately 7 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Tower Street South, Fergus. Initial reports indicate three people had suffered minor injuries.

OPP as well as Centre Wellington Fire & Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services are currently at scene.

***Highway 6 traffic may be delayed to and from Fergus. ***

Police continue to investigate the collision and charges may be pending.
