Recently convicted of impaired driving, a 25-year-old Niagara Falls woman was charged with driving while prohibited after being stopped by Guelph police on Wednesday night.
An officer queried a vehicle licence plate in the area of Wellington Street West and Waterloo Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. and learned the registered owner is prohibited from driving due to a recent impaired driving conviction.
The vehicle was pulled over and the owner confirmed to be the driver, explains a police news release.
