Guelph police are investigating after a quantity of copper was stolen over the weekend from a south end construction site.

Police were called shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday to the site on Southgate Drive. Staff had arrived after the long weekend to discover a hole had been cut in the fence surrounding the site, and a new shipment of copper was missing. No dollar value was immediately available.
