GUELPH FIRE DEPARTMENT

On Jan. 3, 2018 at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 6947 Highway 7. Units from three different stations arrived at the scene and found heavy smoke coming from 40ft x 30ft garage. There was a report of two cars, a boat and several propane cylinders inside.
The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished.
There were no injuries to civilians or firefighting personnel.
The cause of the fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation. Fire prevention remains on scene at this time and are determining the cause and dollar loss.
