Guelph Police go to a wide range of calls during a week. Here are the total numbers for some of the calls we went on over the past week. From Tuesday Jan. 15 at midnight until Monday Jan. 21 at 11:59 p.m.
- 13 break and enters
- 82 check well-being of person calls
- 3 assault calls
- 7 property damage calls
- 11 alarm calls
- 6 fight calls
- 26 neighbour/landlord disputes
- 40 domestic disturbances
- 6 public intoxication calls
- 26 unwanted persons calls
- 32 mental health calls
- 42 suspicious person or vehicle calls
- 41 motor vehicle collisions
- 20 driving complaints
- 30 theft from residence or car calls
- 29 noise complaints
- 8 shoplifters
The Guelph Police were involved in 1,316 incidents in this time frame. Incidents involve everything from traffic stops and accidental 911 calls to domestics and break and enters.
