CRIME OF THE WEEK: Break-in at Elizabeth Street business

At approximately 1:00am on Tuesday September 19 th 2023, a break and enter occurred at a business, located on Victoria Rd S. near Elizabeth Street in Guelph.

Forced entry was gained to the fenced compound. Stolen was a generator and trash pump, with a total value of $3,400. The equipment was hidden beside a neighbouring business and more than three hours later a vehicle attended the area and loaded the stolen items in the back.

The first suspect is described as male, average height and weight, initially wearing a camouflage hoodie and later a light-coloured hoodie. He was also wearing black pants, a black backpack, a blue medical mask and was riding a red bicycle with yellow front forks.

The second suspect was wearing a blue medical mask and driving a red Nissan Rogue SUV.
