A Guelph man faces charges after his licence plate was left at the scene of a hit and run Friday night.

Just after 11 p.m., a witness called police to report a car had collided with two parked vehicles while turning onto Thornberry Court from Edinburgh Road South, causing extensive damage to both. The responsible driver fled the scene, but left his front bumper behind.
