On Aug. 22, 2019 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere check on Gore Road near Cambridge. At approximately 11 p.m., the driver of a brown pickup truck entered the R.I.D.E. check.
While speaking with the driver, officers observed a quantity of illicit drugs. Investigation revealed that that the driver was in possession of illegally obtained Schedule IV Substance, anabolic steroids.
As a result, David Paniagula Roncero, 31-years-old of Cambridge has been charged with illegally obtaining a schedule IV substance and failing to comply with a probation order. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on Sept. 27, 2019.
