Early morning driver charged with impaired

On Dec. 3, 2018 at approximately 7:07 a.m., Guelph Police were alerted by members of the public about a suspicious vehicle entering a gated compound.

When police arrived, they located the vehicle and spoke with the driver. After speaking with the driver, the male was arrested for impaired driving. When police searched the male, they located over 18 grams of what is believed to be crystal meth, with a street value of $1,800. The male was further charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.

Cody Boivin-Wilson, a 21-year-old Guelph male was further charged with over 80, novice driver - BAC above zero, and driver fail to surrender his licence.
