Eight new homes under construction damaged

On Aug. 26, 2017, at 11:18 p.m., Guelph Police were dispatched to the area of McCann Street, Guelph with regard to several suspicious males. Officers arrived and found that eight new homes under construction on McAllister Street and Ambros Street had numerous windows smashed.

The Guelph Police K-9 team was dispatched to the area and they located one male and he was arrested.

Damage to the homes was estimated over $5,000.

A 15-year-old Guelph male was charged with mischief to property over $5,000 and will appear in Youth Court in October.
