Erratic driving near Guelph leads to arrest of Sault man: OPP

A 19-year-old from Sault Ste. Marie has been charged with dangerous driving following an incident that occurred on March 14 near Guelph.

A news release issued today by the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) states that Jeremy Patrick Greco was observed driving erratically in the Township of Puslinch.

Full text of the OPP news release follows:

TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH - On March 14, 2021 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 401 at Highway 6 North in the Township of Puslinch.

It was reported that a passenger vehicle was travelling at various speeds, swerving across all lanes of traffic and cutting off other motorists.

Witnesses pointed out the vehicle to police after it came to a stop on the shoulder of Highway 6 North and Wellington Road 34.

Jeremy Patrick Greco, 19 years old of Sault Ste. Marie has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code.

The Accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph March 30, 2021 to answer to the charge.
