‘Expensive’ bike stolen during south end garage break-in

Police are investigating after a thief rode off with an “expensive” bicycle following a south end break-in on Tuesday.

Two males were caught on video entering a residential garage in the area of Arkell Road and Summerfield Drive overnight. One of them was seen taking a Marin mountain bike valued at more than $3,000.

The bike is described as blue with black and green writing, full suspension, disc brakes and black grips.

The suspect who left with the bike was wearing a light-coloured hoodie, camouflage pants and a light-coloured backpack. The second male was wearing a light-coloured hoodie with dark sleeves, dark pants with a reflective strip near the knee and a square-shaped backpack.
