On Oct. 17, 2018 a 20-year-old Guelph man was involved in a single motor vehicle collision on Victoria Road at Golden View Drive. The male succumbed to his injuries at Guelph General Hospital. Next of kin have been notified and the male has been identified as Jacob Messore.

On Oct. 17, 2018 at approximately 11:45 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Victoria Road at Golden View Drive. An older model sedan had struck a hydro pole. The driver, a 20-year-old Guelph male, was taken to Guelph General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
