A Guelph female is charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop late Friday night.

A Guelph police officer pulled the female over just before midnight on Waterloo Avenue. The female admitted she had been drinking and registered a ‘fail’ on a roadside breath test. Further testing at the police station revealed she had twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system.

A 20-year-old Guelph female is charged with impaired operation – blood alcohol concentration. Her driver’s licence was immediately suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. She will appear in a Guelph court March 19.
