Firearms and accessories seized by OPP

Two people were charged with numerous firearms acquisition and storage offenses

On Nov. 30, 2021, with the assistance of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) and Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence on Orangeville Street in the village of Hillsburgh. OPP entered the home and seized a quantity of firearms and firearms accessories.

As a result of the investigation Angelo D'Urso, 35-years-old and Tanya-Lee Trepanier, 33-year-old, both of Hillsburgh, have been charged with a number of firearms acquisition and storage related offences contrary to the Criminal Code. Both are scheduled to appear the Ontario court of justice - Guelph.
