A Guelph man was arrested in another jurisdiction Tuesday while changing a flat tire on a vehicle reported stolen from Guelph earlier in the day.
Just after 8 a.m. Tuesday police were called to Park Avenue near Suffolk Street West where a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado had been stolen overnight. Later in the day, police in another jurisdiction reported they had recovered the truck when a man was found attempting to change a flat tire.
A 29-year-old Guelph man was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Police are still investigating another vehicle reported stolen Tuesday. Officers were called to Grange Road near Watson Parkway North, where a silver 2006 Honda Civic was stolen from a driveway overnight.
