In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 257 calls for service

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Breach of a recognizance
On Dec. 3, 2018, Kyle Gammie, a 33-year-old Guelph male entered into a Recognizance of Bail. Gammie is presently awaiting sentencing for several trafficking of a controlled substance offences that occurred in June of 2017.

Gammie was released from custody for a period of 72 hours for a function. A condition on his Recognizance of Bail was to surrender himself into the Guelph Police no later that 9 a.m. on Dec. 6, 2018.  At approximately 9:15 a.m., Guelph Police arrested Gammie and he was charged with breaching his Recognizance.  Gammie appeared in court on Dec. 6, 2018.
