Break and enter reported on Grange Road

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Male arrested for public intoxication
On Jan. 31, 2019 at approximately 4:50 p.m., a support worker from a local agency contacted Guelph Police concerned about the well being of a male who had (allegedly) been drinking and had left their agency on foot. Police located the very cold male in a bus shelter on Gordon Street. The 63-year-old Guelph male was arrested and brought to the police station charged with public intoxication.

Break and enter
On the Feb. 1, 2019 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Guelph Police responded to call about break-in at a business on Grange Road. On scene, police found that the front door of the business had been smashed. A substantial amount of cash was taken.
