Guelph Police responded to 241 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Theft of motor vehicle from fenced commercial compound
Sometime during the evening of July 17, 2019, a fenced compound of a business on the north end of the city was entered. A white Chevrolet Silverado extended cab 2500 series was stolen. In the back of the truck was a black and yellow dirt tamper. The vehicle and dirt tamper have not been recovered.

The Guelph Police Service reminds the community to be vigilant in both locking and monitoring their vehicles.

Break, enter and theft from garden shed
Sometime during the day of July 18, 2019, a garden shed located on a residential property in the west end of the city was entered and a bicycle was stolen.

Break, enter and theft from apartment
Sometime over the night of July 17, 2019, an apartment on the west end of the city was entered. Numerous items including approximately $800 worth of cannabis paraphernalia was stolen.
