In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 220 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enter investigation
On June 14, 2018, the Guelph Police went to a Maple Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and stole jewelry.

Unwanted party arrested
On June 14, 2018, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a residence on Silvercreek Parkway in regard to an unwanted female. Police learned the identity of the female and that she was currently wanted.  Amy Dowling, a 42-year-old Guelph female, was arrested. As a result of the arrest, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Dowling was further charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of breaching her Probation Order. She appeared in court on June 14, 2018.
