Sometime on July 14, 2017 there was a distinctive black and purple Suzuki Hyper AE5 motorcycle taken from a Beechwood Avenue home.

Motorcycle stolen

Sometime on July 14, 2017 there was a distinctive black and purple Suzuki Hyper AE5 motorcycle taken from a Beechwood Avenue home.

Theft interrupted

At approximately 4:40 p.m. on June 15, two males were seen trying to steal property from inside a company van at the rear of an Imperial Road business and fled on foot towards Regal Road when they were seen by employees. Police were contacted and searched the area for the two males that were described as white, in their 20s, one wearing a brown sleeveless top and the other wearing a grey hoodie. After a lengthy search with the assistance of Waterloo Regional Police K9, the males were not located.

Break and enter

A Speedvale Avenue house under construction was entered by an unknown suspect(s) sometime after workers left the site on the evening of June 14. It is believed that suspect(s) entered through an unlocked window. A large quantity of tools were taken from inside.

Theft suspect located in London and returned

On Apr. 1, 2017 there six thefts from a University of Guelph changeroom and as a result of the police investigation, two of the three male suspects were identified and arrest warrants were issued for their arrest. One of those suspect(s) is a London Ontario youth who was apprehended by London Police and returned to Guelph on June 15. He is charged with six counts of theft and four counts of unauthorized use of a credit card. He was later released to appear back in Guelph court on July 26, 2017.

On June 15, 2017 the Guelph Police Service responded to 237 calls for service.
